TizenTube dissapears if i exit out of the app completely (hold down back button) and go back in, or reboot the tv

Happens to me as well on a Q60 TV. Otherwise everything works perfectly.

This happens to me too. 65Q70B.
I can add NPM module. TizenTube works as expected. But after closing the app, the module disappears.
Additionally, I cannot execute any of the followings.

  • Autolaunch Settings
  • Autolaunch Settings for services
  • User-agent Settings

I tried both Tizen studio CLI and TizenBrew device manager methods.

I have a similar issue, however when I select "add module" and back out of it the tizentube module reappears and I can launch it just fine. I had this issue in older versions when I set a module to autolaunch. With version 2.0.0 imI seem to have it all the time

I will try and redeploy tizenbrew tomorrow, but kest make sure we all have the same issue before starting a wild Goose change.

I understand the modules are loaded (externally?) maybe there is a connection or some 'get installed modules' issue on cold launch?

Same issue with me, I am on tizen 8 and I keep having to add it back. I will come back tomorrow when I have the relevent info on my end.

Ok, so I did some checking;
First of all, I am on a S95B, so it is not the latest tizen version (6.5).
Second, I removed the apps, and redeployed, and I have exactly the same issue.
I did notice the tizenbrew manager was a little dodgy, did not get a "log"

I was able to reproduce @JVE695 his error, however, I was able to access these settings after doing the "add module trick" I explained before. (go to the setting, it will jump back to home, do the "trick" and press back until you get to the setting.)
Note that the "trick" is to go the the add module menu (doesn't matter which one you choose) and just don't enter any text, just back out of it. This way the module (TizenTube in my case) reappears.

Not sure if any of the settings are persistent. auto launch doesn't work since there are not modules at launch, and not sure what effects changing the user agent should have on the tizentube app (all of them look the same to me).

UPDATE:
Just went to the discord, there are some folks over there that have an updated version that fixes the modules not showing up, however there is not yet a fix for the settings not loading.

Same here, when I click on one of these: Auto Launch Settings, Auto Launch Settings for Services, User Agent Settings, it just redirects me to the home page. After restarting the TV, the installed modules disappear.

So still no solution? I don’t want to install one more app (Discord) just to temporary fix that…

There is no official solution. The test version fixes the modules not showing on startup, but doesn't fix the issues with the settings menu.

I am not sure if @reisxd will upload the intermediate version here or soldier through to have both issues fixed before pushing another release. I leave that to him.
