I just wanted to point out a minor correction that could be made in the 681st page of your book under the dollars picture.
"Therefore, we say that if this bill is worth $100 right now, then it would be worth $90 in a year with a discount factor 𝛾."
As a discount factor is used to discount a future value to its today value I think it should be as follows:
"Therefore, we say that if this bill is worth $100 in a year later, then it would be worth $90 right now with a discount factor 𝛾."
