It would be required to wrapp the rapidfuzz library first. Someone started to work on it a while ago (rapidfuzz/rapidfuzz-cpp#57), but never finished it. I do not have any experience with java and so things like:

  • packaging + directory layout
  • testing (in CI as well)
  • benchmarking in java
  • help with java specific questions

Would need the help of someone with java experience. I would be willing to help with any C++ / library specific things. For this reason I am only going to work on this, if there is someone else with the required experience willing to help out on the java side.
