Permissions

Archiveror needs several permissions to function properly. For some permissions you will see a warning. Here a short explanation why they are needed.

1. 1. Read and change all your data on all websites you visit

This is required to locally save a page in MHTML format. Nothing is modified and the pages are only read when you save it yourself or bookmark a page when in local archive mode.

In addition this permission allows the add-on to send archive requests to archive.is, archive.org etc.

- to know when you make a new bookmark, so the page can be archived - to be notified when bookmark structure changes

1. 1. Manage your downloads

- Download local archives of pages

1. 1. Access your browsing activity

- to create new tabs - to know which tabs are already archived
