I'm using ZapZap installed from Flatpak and I'm unable to do any accented characters (ç é á ´ ã) at all. I'm pretty much sure I have something missconfigured or in Flatpak or in Zapzap, as it works in every single app besides Zapzap.
I'm running Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS, with keyboard English (US, intl., with dead keys) to be able to write in Brazillian Portuguese while owning an US International keyboard.
I have spell checking on pointing to /run/host/usr/share/qt6/qtwebengine_dictionaries but that file does not exist, I don't know if I should have done something to get it to work.
Also, I hardly think this is an issue with Zapzap, but I just can't pinpoint what exactly is going on and/or how to solve it.

Unfortunately, Ubuntu and Flatpak is not a good combination!
I did a quick search on Google and found something about putting as an environment variable o:
QT_IM_MODULE=xim
Try it for flatseal.
I don't know how to help you, because it's not a problem I can reproduce here. As there is a history of problems with Ubuntu and Flatpak, I recommend you look at Ubuntu forums. Surely someone had this same problem and managed to solve.
I don't use Ubuntu, so I can't help you at the moment.
Hello, thank you for making this software!
