Prioritize Least Available Torrent Segments #15666

I was going to suggest a feature request, or ask what might be involved in contributing, so as to incorporate that into the basic operation of qBittorrent, making it concentrate on making lower availability segments the priority, even if someone had selected to download sequentially. |

i think they have a super seeding mode which you could open by right click onto that torrent -> super seeding mode which do just that. Don't know if it actually do the trick, but it will take a while as it has to search for available pieces, and then seed the missing one(theoretically). |

Does qBittorrent already poll existing peers to prioritize pulling the least available torrent segments first?
There are quite a lot of torrents being made available that have an availability of less than 1.0.
I probably misunderstand the purpose of the Availability calculation, but I would think the program would not let individual clients/servers make files available, if the whole package was not intact and consistent with the version being shared out by all of the other peers. Either that, or that it would insist on listing that particular package as a different version, with a different hash, so that it would have an Availability of 1.0 for that version.
I couldn't find where this was covered yet by searching, so sorry if I missed something...
