What maintenance needs to be done?

Now that we have a new central redis we should monitor that server with Check_MK

Level of urgency

  • High
  • Moderate
  • Low

Why is this maintenance needed?

  • Now that we have Redis as a single point of failure we want to know when it is not healthy

Acceptance criteria

  • Install Check_MK on the central redis server
  • Investigate if there are any redis specific tasks we can do like seeing if the latency is huge or something.
  • If we can not monitor specific redis with check_mk maybe we can add Honeybadger alerts to the health monitor

Implementation notes, if any
