I notice this repo hasn't have any activity for a while (last commit on master was Jan 2019), would you be interested in having a few new collaborators on the team?
There are some changes that that I think could be merged and improve this library.
#139 Adding support for flask[async] async/await handlers/view functions
#144 Replacing itsdangerous with PyJWT
Judging by the status here, it seems we still have over 2M downloads in the last month. I would really like to see if we could revive this repo.
