How to setup this? #1

Hi, I will update the documentation ASAP, but in the meantime, you can find the DigitalOcean Oauth info for your account (if you wish to run your own instance of the deployer) here: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-use-oauth-authentication-with-digitalocean-as-a-user-or-developer If you're just looking to deploy a VPN server, and not run a deployer instance, you can use the platform tool: https://vpn-deploy.public.engineering/ |
I'm looking for a personal VPN like a ipjetable (PPTP) but I don't how to do this all. I have found shadowsocks etc method but those Chinese method sucks and dont work properly |
If you have a DigitalOcean account, you can use the one-click service on vpn-deploy.public.engineering and it will automatically deploy the VPN server for you, so you won’t need to deploy any of this project. This only requires that you have an OpenVPN compatible client on your machine to use the configuration file the site will generate.

Unfortunately, I don't have DigitalOcean account. I got some credit of it with my student education pack but still they asked for credit card for signup (that I don't have) I need method for heroku or azure |
You can run this project on Azure, or any host, by running the following bash script (which is automatically run by the deployer on DigitalOcean) on the Azure VM:
https://github.com/jmarhee/dockvpn/blob/master/provision.sh
I may, in the future, add additional cloud providers to the automated tool, but at prevent the above script will be the quickest way to use this method on a provider other than DigitalOcean.

let me try this heroku and thank you dude |
Unfortunately, this is outside the scope of the project— this is only the VPN server software, so unless you have an existing account on a cloud provider, this might not be the right solution for you.
I am, however, working on a fully managed VPN offering alongside this one that might be a better fit once launched (because it will be free and hosted on our infrastructure). If you’d like, I can notify you once this has launched.
