Question About Volumes For Prowler Workers

I am running the prowler app in EKS and want to run multiple instances of the worker pod (in order to achieve higher scanning concurrency).

I know the prowler-worker container needs to write output to the /tmp/prowler_api_output directory. However, I'm unclear on the following:

• Can this volume be ephemeral, or does data on this volume need to be persisted between pod restarts?
• Do the workers need to share this volume, or can each worker have its own unique volume?

• The /tmp/prowler_api_output directory can be ephemeral. No need to persist between pod restarts since workers send results back to the API service upon completion.
• Each worker could have its own unique volume as currently it's only used to store outputs.
