Question: if I buy a class compliant USB MIDI interface such as a Roland UM One (which has an input and an output), can I use Minidexed MIDI Thru functionality to route its own input to its own output? EDIT: here's a pic of the USB MIDI interface, although I'm pretty sure everyone knows this one: Or do I need two separate USB MIDI devices? Thanks! Further EDIT (eh, it's late): What I want to do is this: Yamaha MOXF6 (MIDI Keyboard) -> MIDI Out -> Roland UM One input -> USB to Minidexed -> Minidexed MIDI Thru -> Roland UM One output -> (other MIDI stuff) |

Replying to myself: no, you can do just with one such MIDI interface, just set |

MIDIThru=umidi1,umidi1
inminidexed.ini
and it will work without creating a MIDI loopback.
