form of the hole in the "probatio_base_1x3_bottom_3mm_v9" file could be the same as a connector to a hub #4

I don't understand what is the purpose of the hole in the middle of the "probatio_base_1x3_bottom_3mm_v9" file. I suppose it is meant to pass the wires.
It took me a while to realize that at the side of the 1x3 base I should put a neck support and a block base... What if I want to just use a 1x3 base without the 3x3? souldn't there also be an option to put a connector to connect it directly to a hub? If there was a hole for this connector it could also serve to pass the wires to the block connector to another base.
