Using colors via hexadecimal values #1

Is it currently possible to use the hexadecimal values to specify the colors for different diagram elements? I try for example, the option 'title_colour = "#4F4297"' or 'title_colour = "4F4297"' and the plot object prints 'Error: syntax error in line 7 near ']''. Thanks!
