Can I assign a controller button to manual flashlight mod in RE2?

Hello, I just want to install the manual flashlight mod for Resident Evil 2, and wanted to ask if it is possible to disable other mods included (first person mod for example) and assign a button for a controller. I'm new to RE modding, so excuse my lack of knowledge. I copied dinput8.dll inside my game directory, what else to do, should there be an in-game config menu? Should I use fluffy mod manager?
