Funky interaction between Postmatic, Epoch, and Social Commenting #57

Submitted on behalf of Edwin:

Weird interaction of three plugins (Epoch, Postmatic Social Commenting, & Postmatic) that seem to go haywire (translation wise that is).

Epoch, the social commenting plugin of Postmatic and Postmatic itself, all seem to throw in some other translation in the form field, below a post. That messes up the CSS a little. I have found that enabling Postmatic only, seems to solve this to some extent.

I tested this on fresh with Postmatic, Postmatic Social Commenting, and Epoch activated.

Tested with the three different Epoch comment templates:

  • Use my typography and colors: Everything renders correctly.
  • Minimally: Form renders correctly with Social Commenting icons, but comment threading is all wacky.

  • Completely (beta): Epoch hangs and comments don't load at all. Social Commenting icons don't appear above the comment box. Weird duplicate email address field appears.
