Self Leveling Base Legs Extension/Retraction Issues

The functionality of the self leveling base legs seems to cease upon leaving the launch pad.

Before initially staging on the launchpad, the functions to extend, retract, and auto/manually level the legs work. Somewhere between then and reaching my destination in the kerbal system, the functionality ceases and the inputs on the action menu are unresponsive.

I will need modlists, reproduction steps and logs of the event. Can't reproduce from a simple teleport to mun test.
