We need a comment from @jacogr on a web3 grant application regarding adding smartphones compatibility to polkadot apps:
w3f/Grants-Program#1878

  • What is the motivation for changing the behavior?
We do know that using apps from smartphones is not an intended user behaviour due to security reasons of storing private keys.
However adding such a support for novice users can significantly impact on getting new users who believes that every site should have a mobile friendly version.

@jacogr just to let you know that I'm from W3F and we are currently evaluating the grant proposal mentioned above. I think would be nice to have a responsive interface for polkadot.js, but this would need your collaboration with the project. Maybe we could start the discussion about the topic here, or if you already had a similar proposal before, let me know about the outcomes of it.
