Why removed genders from battle?

Hi, I'm trying your hack, seems cool, but I don't know why you removed genders from the battle but then remained in the info menus.

I can know you removed them 'cause perhaps in the 98's demo there weren't visible, but you added other stuff from later games like gym leaders that talk when remain with only 1 pokémon and seems you added the ability to change dresses too, then would be better IMHO restore the genders to be sure to catch the pokémons from the desired genders. Thank you.
