asdf-grype

grype plugin for the asdf version manager.

Dependencies

• bash, curl, tar: generic POSIX utilities.
• SOME_ENV_VAR: set this environment variable in your shell config to load the correct version of tool x.

Install

Plugin:

asdf plugin add grype
# or
asdf plugin add grype https://github.com/poikilotherm/asdf-grype.git

grype:

# Show all installable versions
asdf list-all grype

# Install specific version
asdf install grype latest

# Set a version globally (on your ~/.tool-versions file)
asdf global grype latest

# Now grype commands are available
grype version
