GIVEN

  • the community plugin is enabled
  • there is a public album
  • the album is empty
  • there is a permission configured for a user group for the album in the community plugin
  • there is at least one user belonging to that group that has piwigo status "user"
  • the user is using the mobile app PiwigoNG (tested with version 2.2.3)

WHEN

  • the user logs in

THEN

  • observed: the app doesn't show the album thus not allowing to upload photos to it
  • expected: the app shows the empty album and offers the possibility to upload photos

comment:
I guess this happens because piwigo doesn't show emtpy albums to non-admin & non-webmaster users

I have the same issue. But even if you have Albums with Photos in there and they finally show up to the Users, the upload button in the (Android) App is still missing. The only solution for me now is to give them the Administrator role, but I suppose then I do not even need this plugin anymore and the system is wide open for manipulation.

I do not have these problems with the Web interface, it exists only in the App.
