Create new object from selection

I think a great feature would be if we could create a new object out of the selected splats. In other words, segmentation of a scene where we could select an object, cut it out of the scene so it becomes an object of its own, but it stays at the same position.
This way we could then export the segmented scene inside a PlayCanvas as separate objects and once imported they would seem like one scene but we could select each object separately.
