[Feature]: Allow Claude to generate commit messages #1221

Problem or use case
As someone who only has Claude locally, there does not seem to be an option to configure a Claude model (e.g 4.5 Haiku) to be the "Text generation model" used for generating commit messages and only OpenAI models are available to be selected.
Proposed solution
Allow configuring a Claude model (like Haiku) as a "Text generation model"
Why this matters
This unlocks auto-generated commit messages for users like me who solely use Claude code
Smallest useful scope
A first pass would need to just call claude code using the selected model rather than the codex cli to generate the commit message
