The diff panel works, but reviewing a large change set (347 files here) is harder than in VS Code's Source Control view. Three parts: what clicking a row does, the Changes list rows, and the layout when the panel is maximised. Screenshots of both apps are at the end.
1. Clicking a row opens its diff
Today clicking a file path in the Changes list opens the plain file, which takes you out of the review. In VS Code a click opens the diff, and opening the file is a hover icon. Opening the file could stay one action away (hover icon, context menu, or Cmd-click).
2. Changes list rows
src/lib/components/ui/..., so the part you scan for is at the end, and long paths are truncated from the left (.../lib/components/ui/breadcrumb/breadcrumb-separator.svelte).+5.1k -322totals.+N -Ncounts: VS Code doesn't have them and they're useful. When maximised they sit at the far right edge though, ~1,500px from the file name; keeping them next to the name would help.3. Maximised: a review layout
Maximised, all diffs are stacked in one scrolling page. Expanding one file pushes the rest of the list down, so with hundreds of files you scroll and lose your place.
