I have searched the existing issues, and I could not find an existing issue for this feature
I am requesting a straightforward extension of existing functionality
Describe the feature
Our current splitting method select allows users to choose between:
Markdown splitting
Recursive text splitting
And if they select the second option, they also get two sliders that appear to allow them to fine-tune the behavior of the strategy further.
My concern is that newcomers to ML / RAG are going to be pretty lost here without additional context. Could we come up with some short descriptive text to display above the select, or perhaps a descriptive paragraph that we update depending on which option is selected?
Something that explains in simple terms to the end user what is going on under the hood and the main differences between each strategy is what I'm currently imagining.
