Comments
Thank you for opening an issue, we sent an email to Open Source Software Conservancy about it |
Hi @ibennetch |
Hi, I'm just checking in to see if you have an update on this issue. |
Hi everybody, We are trying to plan a video call to discuss this with Conservancy That said, getting all contributors to sign the re-licensing can be quite challenging and take some time. |
LGPL would be fine |
@niconoe- would LGPL be good for you too ? |
Yes! That would be perfect! thanks a lot ! |
I am starting the listing of contributors work on #448 (#448 (comment)) Progress is tracked on #448 |
This package has a so called Viral license (GPL-2.0-or-later). Because of the 'viral' aspect of this, AFAIK this means that we are actually unable to use it in a closed source project.
Would it be possible to change this license to a non-viral one?
