Description

This is likely not the best place to file this bug report but I have no idea where to put this.

My mail to internals bounces saying I am not subscribed and trying to subscribe from another email address results in

<[email protected]>: host 104.236.36.140[104.236.36.140]
said: 550 5.1.1 <[email protected]>: Recipient
address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table (in reply to RCPT
TO command)

I used the web interface to subscribe.

PHP Version

PHP 8.3.8

Operating System

No response

It looks like the webform is not 100% fixed yet. To subscribe to a digest one has to send an email to [email protected] and not to [email protected] ...
So in your case an email to [email protected] should do the trick.

And for the webform one needs to change the addresses...

I might take a look at that but probably not today

Thanks for the quick response! I sent an empty mail to that address with the result

<[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])>: host

Indeed, that should do the trick (it certainly worked for me when having "subscribe" as both subject and message text).

The Webform also works for "regular" subscriptions, but like @heiglandreas said, not for digests (and it might be nice to offer the nomail option, too).
