I have Clock+ setup to generate notifications for upcoming alarms. The notification itself pops up but when I hit Dismiss Now ", the notification briefly goes away but then a new one pops up and the cycle repeats. I'm running the latest version available on F-Droid, 1.1.3 on Marshmallow, device is a ZTE Blade V8 Pro. I tried finding the issue via search but was not successful.

Thanks

Same problem here. Downloaded Clock+1.1.3 from F-Droid on my Nexus 4 with LineageOS 14.1 and the dismiss notification button won't dismiss the alarm at all.

Just discovered something. I created a new alarm because of a temporary schedule change. When it fired off, the "Dismiss Now" worked. I deleted the original alarm that the feature wasn't working with and recreated with the same schedule and when it went off the other morning, Dismiss Now worked for it as well. Just to make sure it wasn't a fluke, I waited until today and it again worked.

I'll give that a try. The initial tests seem to work. Still hoping for a real fix. Thanks for reporting though!

Problem persists in Android Oreo. Even the recreated Alarms doesn't fix the issue for me.
