Pretty far out there but probably something we could do with accessibility, although some of the APIs do not work if the window is not focused

That's a cool idea. You could also label an input box and then have a command to dictate to it. Eg "tag this box apple", then "to apple say hello world". That would obv break whisper switchover, but might be useful

Worried about overloading the term "anchor" fwiw 😅. I agree it is a nice term for this concept but it's already so strongly associated with Talon anchoring that it might be confusing. I'm struggling to come up with a better word, though, so maybe we should just use "anchor" 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, we could probably call "locking" or something.
