As my son has gotten to the 6th (orange) chord, I've noticed that he has a log of confusion between green and orange, but the other chords he always gets right. At some point I was thinking of trying to bias in favor of chords that he gets wrong a lot, but I was finding that had some edge cases I didnt love.
Now I'm thinking that I could add some deliberate practice sessions where red/yellow/blue/black are excluded so that he can really master the orange/green distinction.

@pganssle We had trouble with orange and green as well! Seems like more than coincidence -- our solution was as you stated, extra practice with orange / green.
