If I enter credentials manually all is fine. If credentials are fetched from plugin the username is wiped.

More detailed here, as I erroneously treated it as Chrome bug.

This looks more like a bug in ChromeIPass which is actually responsible for filling the username field rather than a bug of this KeePass plugin which only provides the credentials via HTTP to the Chrome plugin.
