  • Allow view transitions (configurable per-path)
  • How should we handle lines between places? These could be auto-drawn if that's all the user wants, or auto-drawn, then hand-modified, adding vertices not stored as place records, to follow a street, road, river, border, or other path.
  • Show next and/or last place when navigating. This should be a configurable option.
  • Minimap for context when zoomed in close.
  • IIIF Georef Maps? See Allmaps. This requires pre-creation of the georectification annotations, in Core Data perhaps, or in Recogito.
  • Styling
    • Slide colors
    • Slide backdrops
    • Slide typeface
    • Basemap(s): from global site config?
