I tried to use tonic as a php based reverse proxy, which I thought it was well suited for, though there is one thing. It doesn't save a reference to the actual uri. For example, /path/to/resource.html becomes /path/to/resource. The extension is stripped for the mime-type, but there is no easy way to go the other direction.
I don't even really know if this is a good idea to be honest, I thought tonic was well suited for a reverse proxy, but I decided to go a different direction. Just wanted to get other opinions on it.
