Please find herein some feature requests or wish list:

  • For large tables it would be very useful to be able to display (somewhere) the row and column numbers/names when selecting a cell.

  • It would be useful to be able to use the clipboard to copy values from the table to Julia REPL

  • It would be awesome if it was possible to have the row and column numbers/names "frozen" and always visible like in MS Excel.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that these would be nice features to have.

w.r.t. copying and pasting, you can get them on the clipboard, right? If so, there are other pacakges that are working on getting things to and from the clipboard easier. See some discussion here.

I think these are more upstream than this package, since this is just a light wrapper around TableView.jl. And unfortunately I don't really understand how TableView.jl works.

w.r.t. copy and pasting, nope, it does not work (Win10), nothing goes to Windows clipboard.

Huh weird. Can you check whether that works when you are using TableView in a jupyter notebook?
