Model Selection

I wanted to follow up on today's QAMS team meeting where @catarinawor presented the model selection results for the time varying Ricker curve. I wrote a way more basic example to do model selection (now on this github) to help see how well/ or not it does in a very basic scenario.

Thanks, @paul-vdb that was actually very helpful to see that AIC doesn't work that well, even in the best case scenario.
