Describe the solution you'd like. ✈️

  • Implement a solution to simplify validation and formatting of different payment method types.
  • Add some configuration flexibility so the possibilities are endless.

Additional context 💬

The payment_methods table now has a details JSON column that supports any payment type data. The requested feature should provide a sweet starting point for the developer to "standardize" custom payment methods like PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc...
