Small usability issue when selecting several items: missing one box is enough to lose all the current selection #532

Hello,

I'd like to share a slight annoyance when selecting multiple password entries via their little check box on their left side.
Ticking exactly in their box allows to select several lines.
But Ticking somewhere else on the password line will select only that line and will remove all the previous selection.
This is especially annoying when selecting many lines and accidentally clicking slightly out of a box and having to repeat the whole selection again.

It would be nice to either extend the box clicking behavior to the surrounding area, or to disable completely mouse clicks in the surrounding area.
By surrounding area, I mean this part highlighted in red

Hello @doegox,

Thank you for your report.

There are shortcuts to select or unselect multiple resources with META_KEY + left-click on a resource or event select a range of resources with the SHIFT + left-click shortcut.

META_KEY: Windows key (⊞) or MAC command key (⌘)

The shortcut with META_KEY seems not to work with the Windows key, it should be replaced by CTRL.

A follow-up ticket was created on the internal tracker to solve this issue: PB-39084.

Best regards

Thanks for the tip but I'm mostly cherry-picking within the current list so selecting by range doesn't help.
But thanks for the internal follow-up!
