Support for Yarn 2 apps

Yarn 2 was introduced in early 2020. It would be great if we could look into supporting Yarn 2 in the Paketo Buildpack

Would be great - I have to now specifically revert back to NPM in a yarn 2 project for CF deployments.

+1 on this, wanted to use yarn 2 or even yarn 3, but blocked because CF does not support it

The contributor team does not have an immediate plan scheduled to add support for Yarn 2. But, always happy to accept contributions. The RFC repo is here and Paketo Working Group details are here.
