Description

The idea is simple: packit.dev and dashboard.packit.dev feel like the same "website".

Architecturally they are 2 different projects right now and it definitely makes sense to keep it like that. Docs can remain to be a static site while dashboard is javascript + python.

The main thing that frustrates me and the reason I am creating this issue is that from the user PoV, the webinterface for Packit are 2 different websites.

Benefit

  • Everyone would only remember a single URL
  • Easier maintenance for us: it's just "one website"
  • There is only one homepage
  • Docs + dashboard in the same interface

Importance

There are numerous ways to do this and it's totally worth discussing that. I'm curious what you think of this idea: do you mind that packit.dev and dashboard.packit.dev look differently?

Workaround

  • There is an existing workaround that can be used until this feature is implemented.

Participation

  • I am willing to submit a pull request for this issue. (Packit team is happy to help!)
