Research:

  • possible implementation options
  • technical issues to resolve
  • design user perspective (compare with Fedora CI / Zuul)
  • compare complexity of possible implementation for Pagure, Forgejo and GitLab

and discuss with the team and create follow-up cards and add to #2453

One extra thing to cover might be "FedoraOnGitlab" concept -- we can reuse the OSCI's *OnGitLab tooling to sync a dist-git repo with a GitLab repository. (We can check if this can help us anyhow and if this is not a deal breaker for more mass onboarding.)
