Piper-TTS Installation Related Issues #85
Comments
I would love to be able to use piper as a external container for several reasons. it would also simplify your workload. you wont have to deal with issues related to piper performance or compatability. |
Wow. If this container is working then it will be much easier for people to use piper without trying to install it. I'll think about integrating this. |
@p0n1 I got a version of this working here, though it diverges a bit with some of the existing patterns, would love a little feedback, happy to tweak it! |
Nice. That would be very helpful. Will try your work. |
FYI - tried out the branch from this PR myself and it works wonderfully. |
Not sure if this helps, but I got piper-tts to work on mbp m2, Python 3.12.4 using: pip install piper-tts --no-deps piper-phonemize-cross onnxruntime numpy Source: rhasspy/piper#395 |
For installation-related issues, please refer to the Piper TTS repository. It's important to note that if you're installing
piper-tts
via pip, only Python 3.10 is currently supported. Mac users may encounter additional challenges when using the downloaded binary. For more information on Mac-specific issues, please check this issue and this pull request.Ref:
