What Abrantes can't do

  • No WYSIWYG to edit the content - Tests are defined in html, css and basic javascript. Code is the most powerful way to define the experiments, but it requires basic knowledge. With WordPress (Gutenberg editor) you can often edit tests in WYSIWYG mode, but not fully. As a side note let me tell you that although Google Optimize had it, I rarely used it.

  • No multi-armed bandit - Often it's not recommended due to lack of statistical rigor. You can increase or decrease the percentage of users allocated to the experiment during the experiment. It's not the same thing as MAB, but it can help managing risks.

  • No statistical significance calculator - It's very important that you use it, but there's many free ones available. I use this one as it allows me to share a URL with the results with the team.
