I run my own NUC 13 server in the living room near the TV. After several trials and errors, I have decided NOT to install a GUI on the server to avoid interfering with services and settings. While playing with Quickemu, I noticed that it starts excellently even on a CLI machine. The problem arises “how to manage the VM machine when the planned use includes only a TV + NUC and a keyboard?”
Question…
Is it somehow possible for me to modify the Quickemu settings so that I could attach the input devices of the HOST machine to the VM machine? An evdev or similar key command-based solution would be the best. Or only way is to hardcode USB passtrouh?
This would allow for quickly converting the server into a retroarch or other “free time necessary service” without altering the core tasks of the server.
