Using DynamicDialog in component library

I am trying to create a component library that uses the DynamicDialog component. When I test my library locally it the dialog opens fine and works as expected. When I add the library to an app and try to use the component I receive the "No Dialog Provided" message even though I have the tag in the component. I have searched several posts and tried different variations to no avail.
