Expose audio of a linux machine?

Hi,

I've followed #139 to get X11 working for a GUI based audio streaming app. After installing ALSA and PulseAudio on the ubuntu host, it appears that it should be "playing" on the linux machine. Is there a way to expose audio to the host? I know I can possibly forward it a la -X flag on SSH, but I'm interested if I can bypass that layer.
