New Year greetings!

First many thanks for making MARP available.

As someone requested in #208, is it possible to have annotations feature in MARP? Slidev offers this through the Drauu drawboard.

During lectures, I rely on an on-screen annotator that must be flushed after every slide. Will love to have this, thanks

Since Marp is an ecosystem that supports the creation of slides, providing presentation support for helping presenters is out of the scope.

If needed, you can put Marp slide to existing presentation frameworks that support annotations, like Slidev or others.

As alternatives, you can do presentation with the exported PDF and the tool for presenter, such as pdfpc, or do with the exported PPTX and a famous presentation software, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, etc.

Thanks, I tried the example you pointed to, I am not able to make it work. Can you please help? Should I pass slidev-cli as an engine while like:

marp  --html --bespoke.transition --allow-local-files --engine @slidev/cli  slides.md -o slides.html

I am able to set up Slidev locally.

Not sure if the below makes sense (HTML is generated through MARP by excluding the engine flag):

$ slidev slides.html
node:internal/modules/cjs/loader:1409
  const err = new Error(message);
              ^

Error: Cannot find module '@slidev/types'
