How to configure eza so it behave just like ls while using pipe or redirection or tee?

First example, a folder containing 7 files,
ls behave like this with 'wc':

$ ls
a  b  c  d  e  f  g
$ ls | wc -l
7

eza behave like this with 'wc':

$ eza
a  b  c  d  e  f  g
$ eza | wc -l
1

Secont example:
result of the file created by ls -l >lsl.txt or ls -l | tee lsl.txt:

total 0
-rw-r--r-- 1 user user 0 Oct  4 17:44 a
-rw-r--r-- 1 user user 0 Oct  4 17:44 b
-rw-r--r-- 1 user user 0 Oct  4 17:44 c

I think eza cannot be advertise as replacement for ls with this behavior in these simple use case.
If I Recall Correctly, exa did not require any configuration to have these behavior, no special flag required, so that I can safely alias ls with exa
But I cannot do it with eza.
How to make it happen in eza?

What version are you on, are you aware of #438 being merged?

Sorry I didn't notice I was on the outdated v0.13.1.
Just upgraded to v0.14.0, it behave just fine.
