new feature idea:

As a long-term GC sink / player goal an "upgrade-upgrade" system might be neat. lots of games do this, where you can re-roll item attributes for a cost, with better rolls being increasingly rare. Maybe even a significantly more expensive "rarity roll" option as well. just another reason to chase GC
