Blurry screen when opening menu or inspecting items from Relics mod.

Hi all,
Some context: recently got a SteamDeck and wanted to test out minecraft. Managed to set it up and it works really well but something happened and now everytime ESC is pressed the whole screen goes blurry - this worked normally before. The buttons can be pressed, they're just not showing up/are invisible. I tried changing to fullscreen/windowed as well as GUI scale but nada.
If there's any ideas on how to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Turns out it was an option somewhere in the settings, still not sure exactly which one - 3rd reinstall fixed the whole thing.
