Setting up dev env

Hey,

Could someone walk me through setting up Iridium.

I followed the instructions in the docs.

setup server with compose and ran the client app.

When I attempt to click the register/ sign I get a 400 page.

is there a step I might be missing?

it works now, I did not update the application Id in the angular client

I'm running with iridium with a docker container. The angular-client and Iridium-cli locally.

I suspect the source you are building the iridium UI from is based on main which may not be compatible with the version of the docker container you are running. You might try to build the iridium UI from the source in the tag v0.1.4, assuming you are running the iridium-core-server container version 0.1.4

i'm currently running the lastest version of iridium-core-server

Checkout the git tag v0.1.4 on a branch and build the UI from there.

The below will create a branch called 0.1.4 based on the tag v0.1.4

$ git checkout tags/v0.1.4 -b 0.1.4

Hopefully this will help.

This solution works. It was a bug in the main.

Do you see the extract bearer token in the server logs or on the client side? Could you post a trace and any other relevant information if you still have it?

This is a bug that was fixed. If you want to use a more recent version of the API you can use the following command.

$  docker pull iridiumidentity/iridium-core-server-nightly:dee02eb

This container is built off of main after every merge. It has more recent code than version 0.1.4.

I'm working on a new release that deprecates all usages of passwords within the system.

You could also try to build from source on this branch
