Platform
Design style guide

Describe the request

In order to help the web and Android apps feel like familiar and comfortable products for the user, the mobile and desktop experiences should be highly consistent. We should try to ensure this through the design style guides.

We should keep elements of the product design that can be seen from a distance consistent, so that learners can recognize the Oppia products quickly. Distinctive colors and shapes might help here.

In order to reduce churn, it would probably be good to change things as little as possible while still keeping the above in mind.

After updating the style guides, we should determine what needs to be changed in the existing Web and Android apps, and update them to match.

Context for the request

This issue is aimed at keeping the Web and Android style guides consistent with each other.
